Shake, Rattle & Red Friday! September 12th
In honor of Chiefs Red Friday and National Chocolate Milkshake Day, join us for a spirited morning of football fun, creative crafts, and chocolate milkshakes at our vintage soda fountain!
📍 Location: Senior Day KC, Lenexa
🎟️ Price: $60 — Includes all activities, snacks, refreshments, and a soda fountain treat
👥 Program Type: A non-medical morning program for independent older adults
🧍 Attire: Comfortable, red-spirited clothing encouraged (Chiefs gear welcome!)

💪 9:30–10:15 AM — “Warm-Up the Tailgate” Fitness
Get game-day ready with this fun, chair-based workout set to stadium anthems—stretch, sway, and smile your way into the weekend celebration.

Craft Corner: Red Friday Rally Fans
Decorate your own cardstock fan in Chiefs colors—perfect for waving during games or showing team spirit on warm days. - Active Alternative: Gridiron Shuffle
Slide your puck down a football field–inspired shuffleboard to score touchdowns, field goals, or dodge defensive penalties. Friendly competition, game-day flair, and end zone celebrations included!
🎯 10:45–11:45 AM — Group Game: Chiefs Bingo Blitz
Score big during Chiefs Bingo Blitz with football-themed fun, fan-favorite calls, and spirited prizes.
🍦 11:45 AM–12:45 PM — Soda Fountain Social: Chocolate Milkshake Celebration
Wrap up the morning with handcrafted chocolate milkshakes in honor of National Chocolate Milkshake Day—classic, creative, or with a Red Friday twist. Enjoy spirited tunes and KC fan camaraderie at the counter!
