Rich Miller’s abrupt introduction to eldercare came when his mother-in-law Gina got sick with Alzheimer’s disease. After placing Gina in three different institutions in less than a year, Rich and his wife Andrea brought her home to live with them. This experience led Rich to believe that there had to be a better way. Which inspired him to go back to school to earn an M.Ed. focused on how to help delay or mitigate the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia through everyday lifestyle interventions like diet, socialization, and exercise. Which, in turn, led to Senior Day KC.

With a deep passion for healthcare marketing and caregiving, Andrea is dedicated to providing heartfelt solutions for families facing the challenges of eldercare. Inspired by her personal journey caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s, Andrea’s warm approach and genuine care resonate. Her focus on building lasting relationships and her commitment to supporting caregivers make her an invaluable asset to the Senior Day KC team.
