Schedule of Activities – 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM
Location: Senior Day KC, Lenexa
A non-medical morning program for independent adults
Comfortable, exercise-friendly clothing is recommended for movement activities.

☕ 9:00–9:30 AM — Coffee Chat: Dog Days & Porch Tales
Ease into the day with coffee and conversation about childhood summers, favorite four-legged friends, and simple ways to stay cool when it’s hot.

💪 9:30–10:15 AM — Summer Stretch & Flex
Enjoy a relaxed, guided chair yoga session focused on staying limber and refreshed through the late-summer heat.

🎨 10:15–11:15 AM — Choose your activity:

• Creative Corner: Summer Collage
  Create a fun, colorful collage with cutouts of watermelon slices, beach scenes, pets, and classic summer icons.
• Active Alternative: Bean Bag Toss – Lazy Days Edition
  Friendly rounds of bean bag toss with a laid-back, porch-sitting pace.

🎮 11:15–11:45 AM — Group Game: Summer Trivia Shuffle
Split into two teams. Buzz in to answer questions about summer facts, dog breeds, music, movies, and more.
Scoring:

• +1 point for each correct answer
• -1 point for incorrect buzz-ins
• First team to 10 points wins — or highest score after time’s up!

🎶 11:45 AM–12:45 PM — Soda Fountain Social Hour
Cool down with a refreshing soda fountain treat, retro tunes, and a relaxed social hour. Plus, a bonus round of Bingo if the mood strikes!
